The monthly Darkmoon Faire is officially open! Today, we'll introduce a guide for completing all profession quests at the Darkmoon Faire.

2 Key Mechanics to Know in Advance

• Profession quests reset monthly.
•  
• Quest rewards follow a retrospective system. This means that the skill points you earn from profession quests will apply to your highest unlocked profession specialization. For example, if your Kazjag crafting skill isn’t maxed out yet, you’ll receive points for that. If it’s already maxed, you’ll get points for other, incomplete skills like Kul Tiran crafting.

4 Professions You Should Prepare for

While most profession quests can be done entirely on Darkmoon Island, four crafting professions require you to gather materials before heading to the island. These are:

1. Tailoring: Coarse Thread x1, Red Dye x1, Blue Dye x1
   Available from Tailoring Suppliers.

3. Inscription: Light Parchment x5
   Can be purchased from Inscription Vendors or from the robots on Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth.

5. Alchemy: Moonberry Juice x5
   Purchase from any innkeeper.

7. Leatherworking: Coarse Thread x5, Blue Dye x5, Shiny Bauble x10
   Coarse Thread and Blue Dye from Leatherworking Vendors, Shiny Bauble from Fishing Suppliers (usually near fishing trainers).

Tailoring

The NPC handing out tailoring profession quests is Selina Dourman (Coords: 55, 55). If you’ve gathered the required materials ahead of time, you can craft a Darkmoon Banner right away. After that, walk a few steps to interact with the loose stones on the ground to complete the quest.

Alchemy

The Alchemy quest is given by Sylannia (Coords: 50, 69). Speak to the NPC after accepting the quest to buy a Fizzy Faire Drink. If you’ve already collected Moonberry Juice, you can use the Mixer in your bag to craft five Fizzy Faire Drinks and complete the quest on the spot. If not, you’ll need to leave Darkmoon Island (using the portal at the central dock) and buy Moonberry Juice from an innkeeper in Goldshire or Mulgore.

Blacksmithing

Yebb Neblegear (Coords: 51, 82) provides the Blacksmithing quest. He’ll give you Reserve Iron, and you’ll need to find an anvil to forge horseshoes. Since I haven't found an anvil on Darkmoon Island, I completed the quest by leaving the island (through the central dock portal) and returning to Goldshire/Mulgore to find an anvil near the Blacksmithing Trainer.
