Season 7 introduces several powerful artifacts to expand your arsenal:

Void Gauntlet: Fracture – Heal 100% more and deal 50% extra damage with Essence Rupture. Unlock by defeating Tribunal Ice Mammoth, Ipomoea, and 20 Frozen Varangians in Glacial Tarn.

Life Staff: Heceta – Reduce damage absorption by 30% using Light Touch. Complete the Heceta Canyon Questline to unlock.

Ice Gauntlet: Otzi – Inflict Frostburn by breaking Entomb, slowing enemies and dealing damage over time. Found in Icewood Caverns after defeating Frostbound Howler.

Fire Staff: Burnatator – Boost burn effects by 15% over 5 seconds at the cost of base damage. Collect Ember Flames in Scorched Dunes.

Bow: Aconite – Deal 15% more damage to poisoned enemies. Unlock via the Venom Questline in Jungle Wilds.

Rapier: Dorgort’s Blade – Apply stacking burn effects with heavy melee attacks. Defeat Dorgort in the Volcanic Lair for Lava Tip.

Earring: Justice – Recharge healing potions automatically after 20 hits (90-second cooldown). Complete the Alchemist Trials in the Forbidden Labs.

Musket: Shrapnel – Cause enemies to bleed with headshots. Earn it by defeating the War Machine Captain in Ashen Barracks.

New World Aeternum

"New World: Aeternum" has launched its first season, "Season of Opportunity," introducing an exciting array of updates driven by player feedback. From repeatable Soul Trials to a chaotic PvP zone and upleveled endgame rewards, this season offers something for every adventurer. Notably, the season also introduces a thrilling 10-player raid, the Hive of Gorgons, where players face challenging puzzles and epic boss fights.

In response to player feedback, PvP mechanics have undergone adjustments. Target lock will no longer automatically switch to another target after defeating a player, allowing for better manual control. Target lock also breaks more aggressively when losing line of sight, enabling easier evasion, and the character’s turn speed has been slowed, reducing homing attack effectiveness. Additionally, the Blunderbuss’s PvP damage has been temporarily reduced while the developers work on a long-term solution.

Cross-world matchmaking now makes it easier to find matches in 3v3 Arenas, and skill-based matchmaking has been introduced for both Arenas and Outpost Rush, creating more balanced and competitive battles. Role selection is now available in these modes, ensuring better team composition similar to Expeditions.

Collect Cursed Doubloons, but beware of betrayal and looters eager to steal your spoils.
